PAZAVANGADI SRI MAHA GANAPATHY TEMPLE


One of the main temples at Thiruvanthapuram, Kerala, India. The deity is sitting with his right leg folded in a half padmasana posture . 

This temple is very close to Sri Padmanabha Swamy temple.

This Pazavangadi temple came into existiance by 1795 AD . The diety was shifted to Thiruvananthapuram at that time. Previosly it was at Padmanabhapuram, then the capital of Travencore. It was said that the diety owned by a soldier of Travencore army

Here we can see 32 forms of Load Ganesa  which is beatifically painted
